Scam Case Collection

As WoWMine is a leading brand in MMORPG service field, many scams in the name of WoWMine had bubbled up over the Internet defrauding our customers. Please note that only contact ways on our Contact Us page are believable, any other contact ways that are not stated on the page are fraudulent. We have collected some scam cases which happend to our customers, we hope these cases can remind you to keep a watchfull eye against fraud.

1.A Story of "WoWMine Gold Supplier"

A was a customer who used to buy WoW gold from WoWMine. One day a person pretended to WoWMine gold supplier offered A a VIP account for some gold site and sounded A out about his gold purchase information. After gained A's trust, the "WoWMine gold supplier" gave out a very low price gold offer and instigated A to pay it avoid any gold site. A followed his suggestions, and of course received nothing.

2.WoW TCG Card Spectral Tiger, Only 3000 Gold!

B was a WoW gamer who has been long for a spectral tiger. One day a "WoWMine staff" whispered him in game "WoW TCG card spectral tiger, only 3000 gold!" B was hooked by this message. Then the "wowmine stuff" gave him a "gear code" which was declared to can be exchange to a spectral tiger with wowmine. To earn B's trust, the stuff send an "order confirm mail" through goldsales@wowmine.com to B and guided him to apply the tiger from livechat after payment done. B was convinced of his truth by now, then deliver 3k gold to the person. Till B apply his tiger from live chat, he found he was scammed.

3.MSN or Email?

One day C received a message from order-enquiry@wowmine.com on MSN, the message said "I'd like to spend 700$ to buy your WoW account." Considering WoWMine's reputation and such a good price, C decideded to do this business. order-enquiry@wowmine.com send C payment through paypal. But after C told all his account information to order-enquiry@wowmine.com, he found the 700$ on his paypal account has been CB. Then C contacted wowmine livechat for reason. But the livechat told him order-enquiry@wowmine.com was one of WoWMine email address, but its MSN was not registered by WoWMine. And of course, it was a fraud.
